New strait named after the Bank Family !

April 2009 the Bank family were the first ones to circumnavigate "Warming Island" on dogsledges.
The island , which formerly was connected to the mainland via glaciers , has now - after the ice had withdrawn - become an island again.
The 6 members of the family drove with 3 dogsledges from Nanu Travel north of Liverpoolland and became thereby the first ones to experience this inaccessible area in winter.
During the trip , the passage between Warming island and Liverpool land was named "the Bank Strait".
